For sixteen years, The Forge has been an intergenerational STEAM community where youth and adults learn, build, and belong. What makes us special isn’t the tools, it’s the ecosystem of curiosity, confidence, and collaboration we create together.
The past few years have been incredibly hard. We lost our 12,000 sq ft facility during the pandemic, moved four times, and spent almost a year without a home. We met anywhere we could: senior centers, retirement communities, park shelters, even Dunkin’ Donuts.
This fall, we finally secured a cozy 2,400 sq ft space with a three-year lease. It’s warm and welcoming, but it’s also the smallest space we’ve had since 2011.
Now we have the chance to move into the larger space next door and double our capacity, but we can only make that move with community support.
