WHAT IS FOLK?
FRIENDS OF LOW KEY is our sustaining membership and discount program, a way for our community in Hot Springs and beyond to support us in the most direct way possible every month.
WHY SUPPORT?
Low Key Arts plays a vital role in Central Arkansas and we can’t do it without the support of our Friends. Our programs such as Inception to Projection Filmmaking Program provide real world educational opportunities and open doors to employment and hands-on experience for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our culturally dynamic events such as VOV - Valley of the Vapors Independent Music Festival and POV - Persistence of Vision Film Festival, bring people together, inspire creativity, and simply would not happen in Hot Springs without us. Our solar-powered community radio station, KUHS-LP 102.5 FM, is the only thing of its kind in Arkansas, is entirely volunteer-run, and provides an unequaled opportunity for our community.
While our programs are growing and thriving, the reality of running a nonprofit is that we must continuously secure funding to sustain our work. That’s why we’ve launched a new monthly giving program to help cover our ongoing expenses and ensure that we can continue to focus on the important work we do.
Our goal is to raise $8,500 per month through this program—ensuring we have the financial stability to keep creating and producing arts programming without the constant scramble for funding.
