Each year, the Friends of Benelli Foundation offers support to thousands of vulnerable animals in the USA, Venezuela, Peru, Lebanon and Turkey. However, the demand for our rescue services reaches far beyond our capacity due to the uncontrolled street animal population in the communities where we work.

Around every corner is another dog or cat born on the street merely to suffer. Without a home, these animals have to fight every day to survive. There is never enough food, safe havens or medical care available to ensure these animals have a life worth living. Only a small percentage will get the chance to be rescued and find a forever home. We just can't save them all.

Without intervention, the stray animal crisis will only get worse.

Our goal is to sterilize as many street dogs and cats as possible to help control the unwanted pet population and the spread of disease, which ultimately makes life better for all animals and people in the communities we serve.

ONE female dog or cat can birth 10+ litters in their lifetime, which means a single spay can prevent THOUSANDS of potential stray or shelter animals over several generations.

In 2025, we sterilized approximately 1,000 animals in large part due to contributions from a very small number of dedicated spay and neuter sponsors. Imagine how many lives we could change if we had more support for our sterilization services?

The cost per surgery ranges from $20-130 depending on the type and size of animal, location, and the number of dogs or cats spayed at one time. The more support we have, the more lives we can change.

Please consider contributing to our Spay and Neuter Fund today to help us do our part to end the cycle and make life better for all.
