Unfortunately, we did not meet our fundraising goal for June. However, we would like to thank everyone who has donated so far, and to everyone who tried to rally people to engage on our TikTok posts. It means a lot to have so many who want to see us succeed!
Although we did not meet our June 30th deadline, we do still need to raise this money to cover our open medical cases and food expenses. We have 23 dogs in active treatment for injuries and illnesses, and we need to ensure they are taken care of.
As of July 1, we have an expense deficit of $11,831 to raise.
We will be taking a step back from accepting new rescue cases for the time being while we reevaluate our future.

Thank you to everyone who contributed toward the emergency fundraiser to house the 24 dogs evicted from their paid boarding facility.
We signed the paperwork for the new "Rescue House" on Monday evening, and the dogs moved in on Tuesday! I will be posting a video update shortly of the move and the progress. The house needs work, but it's going to be an amazing sanctuary for the dogs once it's complete!
Although we met this emergency goal, we still have so far to go for our overall campaign. We must raise our current debt by the end of June if we are going to be able to continue rescuing. Please consider supporting our organization today.
We are increasing our budget by $6,000 and need urgent help. On top of all our financial struggles, we now have 24 dogs in Venezuela (9 of which have special needs) who have lost their paid boarding. Our partner Jeniree has 100+ dogs who reside outside the shelter in paid boarding or foster homes, and 24 of the dogs were evicted on Friday 6/20 without warning. We only have a temporary solution for them through TOMORROW.
It does not make sense to continue putting these dogs in paid boarding, since neither we nor Jeniree can afford it... and there are such limited resources and options to house so many dogs.
There is a small house we can buy for $6,000 available NOW, and it is ours if we can come up with the money. It will need a little work, but it has ideal flooring for the disabled dogs and will give us a permanent solution to house the 24 dogs.
We absolutely do not have these funds right now. We need help. The dogs are depending on us. Please consider donating.
