Each year, Friends of Adaire (FoA) sets a communal goal with the intention to inspire Adaire families, community members, and supporters to raise funds to back a yearly, changing mission. With the help of so many we’ve helped make lasting investments in Adaire’s music, science, and arts, and now FoA is excited to announce our 2022-2023 school year Annual Fund Campaign to Bring Mural Arts to Adaire!
Adaire parent, artist, and acclaimed muralist Ben Volta, in conjunction with Mural Arts Philadelphia, is leading the charge to transform the facade of our school building along our auditorium entrance and columns with a beautifully designed mural. Philadelphia is renowned for our city’s bountiful mural art and we are excited to be adding Adaire to this giant public exhibition, beautifying both our schoolyard and our neighborhood. Ben's design was crafted with both student and community input, and every student at Adaire will have the opportunity to contribute to the mural. You can check out the plan here:

Mural Arts has already committed $20,000 toward the cost of this project, and FoA has set a goal to raise more than $30,000 in additional funding, plus grant funding. To date, FoA has already dedicated $5,000 from prior fundraising, and with your help we have already raised over $2,500 to date toward our mural project funding goal.
So now, we need YOU! In years past the Adaire community has made generous commitments to our annual fund projects and we’ve already seen so much enthusiasm from parents, children, and teachers for this project. We greatly appreciate donations in any amount, and along with one-time donations encourage families to set up a monthly, recurring donation to help fund this and future projects
