The Garden Valley Baseball field project is well under way. Thanks to many local volunteers, great progress was made in the fall of 2024.
The playing surface was leveled, irrigation was trenched and installed, the final grade was applied, outfield fence was installed, grass was seeded and infield sand and clay were delivered.
We are looking to raise funds to 'Finish the Field' which will provide mound clay, fence capping, two dugouts, a backstop wall, backstop poles, backstop netting and necessary construction labor to do so.
Once this milestone is complete, we will have a playable baseball field for community of Garden Valley. High School and Middle School kids will no longer have to travel for their home games!
