Fernando has been selected to participate in the prestigious New Balance Future Stars Series Underclass Elite at Fenway Park in Boston, MA. He needs your help to make this dream a reality. The players are not charged a fee to participate but instead get the opportunity to raise funds for Future Stars Series Foundation and St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. The players have a chance to earn stipends towards their expenses just by helping raise money for these great causes.
Meet Fernando: Born and raised in Southern Wisconsin in a single-family home has not only made Fernando resilient but determined to further his education and hopefully continue to play baseball at a collegiate level and professional level.
Fernando shares his favorite baseball memory: "A walk off single my first high school game."
Fernando also shares what attending the NBFSS Underclass Elite means to him: "Attending this prestigious event is like a dream come true. This once in a lifetime invite will not only allow me to showcase my talents but I will be alongside some of the best talent from around the world. I can’t thank my mom enough for making sure I was in attendance at the first combine and then encouraging me to attend the second event which then led me to Nashville and now this Elite opportunity. I am truly beyond blessed and have work to do these next eight weeks!"
