For millions of Muslims around the world, the month of Ramadan is a time of reflection, prayer, patience and charity. For us at The Migrant Kitchen Initiative it is about providing food for those in need to make sure they can give their families a festive and celebratory Ramadan and Eid.
As food insecurity continues to rise in the USA and in the Middle East, we have partnered with local mosques in New York and in Lebanon to deliver home cooked meals as well as pantry boxes that can feed families of 4.
here is no more powerful time to give than during the month of Ramadan.
About The Migrant Kitchen Initiative:
We cook because we believe, now more than ever, that we have a responsibility to lift-up the most vulnerable members of our communities. Migrants from around the world come together in our global kitchens to share their stories and cultures through healthy, delicious meals that are served to the food insecure in communities around the world.
