One of the first missions of the Reis Foundation was to try to make an impact on school lunches - on connecting healthy, local produce to our schools in Berkshire County. We've done it through helping build gardens, giving children vouchers at farmers markets, speaking in health classes, and other ways, but now we have an opportunity for our most direct and biggest impact yet!
St. Mary's School in Lee is having to reassess what they can offer for school lunches, and it is our mission to help provide as much of the produce for the kids as possible.
Not only will this allow for us to ensure our local kids are getting healthy food, but we can give them access to LOCAL food, which is so important!
The Reis Foundation is going to be partnering with local farms to provide produce for St. Mary's School lunches, and just how much of that we can do is in your hands!
We need your help.
Anything you can donation will go 100% to getting produce from the farms to feed these children.
