In April of 2024, our beloved market truck, which is essential for operating the Arcata Plaza Farmers’ Market, finally broke down beyond repair. This vehicle is crucial for transporting all necessary market supplies. We need a reliable vehicle to maintain the vibrant and thriving markets our community loves and depends on! NCGA has historically relied on older, used vehicles to power the needs of our markets. This comes with higher maintenance costs over time, and is less reliable.
This fundraiser supports the purchase of the very first NEW vehicle for our farmers' markets, in hopes that the vehicle will last a very long time and limit higher maintenance costs.

Thanks to a generous anonymous social justice donor group, donations were MATCHED! We have met our matching goal, and will fundraise through the end of September to cover the final costs of the vehicle.
