This November 29th, we're encouraging all of our past donors and collaborators to support Far Away Projects, a California 501(c)3, in scaling our impact.

In 2022 we have managed to hit our goals ahead of time and are now planning ahead to 2023. As we set our sights on launching our corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, we aim to ramp up our own capacity and backend infrastructure. Our goal in launching this CSR program is to help startups through late-stage companies make commitments toward definitive impact and aid them in the mechanisms needed to accomplish these goals.
Our needs are $80,000 by February 1st to scale this program and onboard 30 companies eager to make an impact.

We are thrilled to announce that here at Far Away Projects we have accomplished ALL of 2022 organizational goals by OCTOBER. We’ve consistently increased our capacity for project support, while amplifying our projects’ impact around the world. We onboarded a whopping 50 projects this year - ranging from Citizen Science initiatives protecting and surveying coral reefs, to an artist activism studio accelerating plastic recovery, to teaching children teamwork through tennis! We’ve onboarded our youngest project leader, established our biggest partnership, and just signed on a brand new board member.
Just this past month we also cohosted a dinner at NYC Climate Week with The Future of Cities to discuss regenerative placemaking with some of climate's most passionate doers. Far Away created a gathering space for nonprofit leaders, activists, and filmmakers to speak about their unique efforts to address climate destabilization.
Next month, we are working hard to launch Far Away Radio, our new podcast that tells stories of community resilience. While we have recorded all the content to release the first season, we are seeking additional fundraising support to cover the costs of post-production.Thanks to our amazing team and some stellar consultants, we are on track to achieve even more by the end of year, but we certainly cannot do so without your generous support. In order to support our growing roster of projects, we must raise $12,500 dollars by October 15.
