Our Purpose and Our Plea!

We’re the Family Life Worship Center Church, located at 1545 Dranesville Road, Herndon, Virginia 20170. Our dynamic leader is Senior Pastor Reverend JoAnn McCoy, Principal Visionary.
Our vision is to share the Hope, Joy, Peace, and the Love of God, by encouraging the broken and disadvantaged, establishing family and community partners living, and embracing unification through fellowship. The church and school are inclusive to all desiring a personal relationship with God.
In August of 2019, our church entered a purchase agreement in Herndon Virginia to buy a church campus. We committed to the lenders requirement of raising $1,000,000 to complete the financing in two (2) years. However, five (5) months later, January 2020, the world was adversely impacted by the Covid-19, Health Pandemic. Additionally, on September 27th, 2020, our Senior Pastor was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative Breast Cancer and endured 4 surgeries and extensive chemo treatments, but after nine (9) years, our pastor continues to serve our church and community without receiving a salary.
Yet, we made it, and raised a million dollars!
Post-Covid-19, the Health Pandemic, and the world re-opening in stages with less than 30-days of the loan closing, the bank now requires an additional $3,500,000 for closing by October 30, 2022. The negative impact of the Covid-19 Health Pandemic and the increase in inflation have resulted in a significant change in our banks’ loan terms and new closing requirements for the purchase scheduled on October 30, 2022.
This modifies the terms and conditions of the FLWCC purchase agreement for our church and partners. The seller has refused to extend the purchase period, and the FLWCC will be displaced and suffer a substantial financial loss.
If our church does not raise the money by this deadline of October 30, 2022, and after 3-years of occupancy, our church will be dislocated without a place of worship.
