Faith of Lucky Children's Uganda Center

My name is Jose Mojarro; I'm a 16-year-old attending High School in the US. Around 2020 on a regular day, I received a message from an account that desperately needed help opening a GoFundMe. At the time, I was skeptical; I thought it could simply be someone trying to scam me and gain money using children to get money. However, this person who ran the account was not looking for donations nor was begging for any source of aid, but relatively simple help opening a GoFundMe. After some dialogue, I came to know this person, Mukose Saidi. Mukose Saidi and some locals help provide shelter, food, medical care, education, and clothing to children who have lost their families. The Center receives kids who are homeless, motherless, or have been abandoned.

Uganda alone has a large population in need; however, regularly, large masses from neighboring countries immigrate to Uganda. Saturating the need for refugees and shelter.  

The orphanage holds more than 30 kids to whom we're responsible for providing all necessities. It is located in the Bosowa District, east of Uganda. The orphanage can be found on google maps and is officially registered as a certified orphanage.

Providing necessities for more than 30 kids is no easy task. It requires sacrifice that is both time-consuming and money-consuming. The orphanage runs strongly on donations that help pay for running costs. The Center helps provide kids a place to call home, play, eat, sleep, and have a life far from hardships. Making this possible relies upon the biggest to the smallest donation the center receives. Every penny donated is used to make this place a home for many unfortunate children.
