Here’s the problem:
Food Security in America is Personal Security.
The COVID-19 pandemic as destructive and unredeemed as it was, brought to the forefront the reality that poor and underserved communities were simply living close to starvation and that children and families were having to make decisions between whether they pay the monthly bills or whether they buy food, it was that stark.
Our most vulnerable populations — children who are out of school and rely on school lunch programs, low-income families, the elderly, and individuals facing job disruptions — face great barriers to receiving safe and consistent access to meals.
The goal of Face Friends Foundation Food Fund — as envisioned by its Founder and Executive Director, is to become part of the solution to one of the most vexing problems of our time, adults, children and families not having enough to eat. The Board of Directors of Face Friends Foundation adopted the mission and goal of the foundation to help put food on the table for every child within our power and your generosity to help, the goal is to help ensure that all people have reliable access to food.
We have an opportunity to come together to support our neighbors in this critical time of need.
