Community Closet Intuitive
ElevatingWiththeCommunity(EWC), is a Black owned 501(3)C nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C. We serve wards 7 and 8 neighborhoods, which has high yielding rates of poverty. Our purpose is to empower and aid low-income/homeless individuals at risk of poverty by providing needed essentials such as personal development and empowerment programs to maintain sustainability. Our community closet program allows those in need to come to EWC to enjoy a shopping experience free of charge. We have a inventory of clothes ranging from male to female of all ages along with shoes, personal hygiene and bags. This intuitive help individuals build confidence despite their economic situation which helps with mental health, job interviewing, on the job experiences and so much more.
