Ethan has been selected to participate in the prestigious New Balance Future Stars Series Underclass Combine in Nashville, TN. He needs your help to make this dream a reality. The players are not charged a fee to participate but instead get the opportunity to raise funds for Future Stars Series Foundation and No Kid Hungry. The players have a chance to earn the entire trip for free just by helping raise money for these great causes.
Meet Ethan: Ethan Barnes is 16 years old and from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He plays on FTB travel team and is a first baseman and a left-handed pitcher. He has been playing the game for 12 years now. When Ethan isn't playing the baseball, he likes hunting, riding four wheelers, and he likes to work. He works for a construction and excavation company.
Ethan shares his favorite baseball memory: "My favorite baseball memory is when I hit two home runs in one game on Father’s Day for my dad. My dad told me this is all he wanted for Father’s Day."
Ethan also shares what attending the NBFSS Underclass Combine means to him: "This event to me means a lot because I’m very lucky to be able to make it to the second round two years in a row. Last year I made it to the final round at the fresh 50 and this year I hope to make it to the final round as well just like last year. I also liked how I was able to fundraise for all my events last year for the Jimmy fund and I would also like to do that again this year. "
