On 18th May, I’ll be running the Chester Half Marathon with friends from Rainbow for Africa to raise funds for point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) training in Kenya. This project donates equipment and provides hands-on and theoretical training to doctors and midwives, helping them detect high-risk pregnancies and refer women to hospitals—making childbirth safer and saving lives.
I’ve seen the impact of this work firsthand—the training is warmly received and truly life-changing. Despite a knee injury, I’m pushing through because this cause is worth every step. 🎗️
