End of Year Appeal 2021

Dear friends,

Amid a second year of the COVID-19 pandemic, we at the National Center on Domestic Violence, Trauma, and Mental Health (NCDVTMH) have embraced an entirely virtual model and continued our legacy of field-responsive training, resource development, research, and evidence-based policy. This year, we:

  • responded to 2,550 requests for technical assistance,
  • provided 176 trainings,
  • reached 16,215 conference and webinar participants,
  • briefed Congress on the needs of pregnant and parenting survivors, as well as survivors with substance use and mental health concerns, and
  • published our first needs assessment of DV programs, highlighting programs' capacity to meet the needs of survivors with substance use or mental health challenges and their children.

But our impact is not just in numbers—of trainings offered, reports published, or meetings convened. It's in transforming the systems that impact survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their families. It's in supporting not only survivors, but those who work tirelessly on their behalf. It's in building our vision: a society where all people are free of systemic, collective, and individual trauma. We feel our impact in what we hear from you:

Collaborative, trauma-informed approaches across the fields of domestic and sexual violence, mental health, and substance use are essential. Your support makes this crucial work possible.

We invite you to join us with a gift of any size. Invest not only in our future as an organization, but in the future of this movement—a future of safety for survivors, their families, and their communities. We are honored by your partnership and deeply grateful for your generosity. Thank you and happy holidays!
