Transforming Lives in Rural Uganda by Equipping Women and Youth with Life-Changing Skills
At the heart of rural Uganda, MAANYI Foundation works with women, youth and vulnerable communities to create practical pathways out of poverty through hands-on skills training and sustainable livelihoods.
Our work focuses on building real, usable skills that directly translate into income and resilience. Through our community-based training programs, we equip people with knowledge in areas such as sustainable agriculture, eco-briquette production, tailoring, mushroom growing and other green vocational skills. These are not theoretical courses-they are practical, locally relevant skills designed for immediate application and long-term self-reliance.
Beyond training, we support the development of community learning spaces where beneficiaries can practice, produce and gradually build micro-enterprises. We also integrate environmental sustainability into everything we do, ensuring that economic empowerment goes hand in hand with climate resilience and responsible resource use.
This fundraiser directly supports the expansion and running of these initiatives—helping us reach more people, improve training quality and strengthen our ability to provide tools, materials and mentorship to those who need it most. Every contribution helps create opportunities for dignity, income and lasting change in rural communities.
