Welcome to my crowdfund page! I'm Danai, and I am thrilled to have you join me on this heartwarming journey to support the children of Chindotwe Primary School in Zimbabwe. As someone with a deep personal connection to Zimbabwe and the community where my father grew up, I am passionate about supporting the children of Chindotwe Primary School. Together, with your help, we can make a tangible difference in their lives and provide them with the education they deserve.
Chindotwe Primary School is located in my Ancestral home, Bindura District, in Mashonaland Central Province in Zimbabwe. It serves as a vital educational institution within the community, serving a total of 1,234 students with 33 dedicated teachers and 31 classes. Unfortunately, with limited resources and an average of 50 children per class, these students face numerous challenges. The school currently has only 10 outdated laptops, they lack the basic necessities such as textbooks and pens and some students are struggling to keep up with their school fees.
By reaching our £20,000 goal, we can achieve the following:
- Sponsor the 22 children struggling the most to pay school fees
- Help retain two Primary School teachers in post for a year who are at great risk of being made redundant
- Renovate the school with fresh paint and new furniture as it's in dire need
- Provide modern laptops for the students and teachers

- £30 helps provide school supplies for the year (books, pens, and laptops)
