WINDSTORM SURGE APPEAL

On the 19th of June 2019, the people of Gambia experienced a devastating wind storm surge which affected over 15,000 people including 1,425 displaced with over 900 houses damaged or destroyed.

Then again, on 12th of October 2020, they were hit by heavy floods and windstorms. As a result, a further 33,000 people were affected as their homes were severally damaged and destroyed.

Some of the needy are still suffering due to the scale of destruction and its impact on the lives and housing of communities.

We are running this emergency campaign to help our beloved Gambian community recover by aiding the needy in rebuilding their broken homes.

We have identified 19 houses in urgent need of your donations.

Your donations are needed to repair the structure, ceiling and walls to ensure vulnerable families can return to a safe living environment.
