As we approach the end of 2026, Operation Realife is committed as ever to help ease the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza who have been enduring unimaginable circumstances for three years.
Our campaign goal is to raise $142,500 through the remainder of the year to benefit over 200,000 people.
Here's what that money will do:
- Distribution of clean water to 180,000 people in water-scarce communities and camps in Gaza.
- Deliver food to a total of 20,000 people.
- Help us get shelter supplies and seasonal clothing to around 1,000 people.
Quick Facts:
- Just 3% of Gaza's farmland is accessible to Palestinians according to the UN.
- During this ceasefire (Oct 10, 2025 - present day), an additional 9 percent of Gaza's structures have been destroyed. A total of 83% of Gaza's structures are damaged or destroyed - a total of 200,00 buildings - with about two thirds of them being completely destroyed.
- Israel has been pushing their yellow line further into the Gaza Strip. They physically occupy about 70% of Gaza.
- A blockade on fuel, spare parts, machinery equipment, etc. has paralyzed much of Gaza's critical infrastructure.
- Major funding shortages have reduced the amount of services and aid that NGOs, humanitarian agencies, and civil programs can provide in Gaza.
- An IPC reported released on July 26 projected 1.4 million Palestinians would be experiencing Phase 3 (Crisis Level) food insecurity or higher through the rest of 2026.
- Board of Peace efforts have stalled through a majority of 2026 resulting in no meaningful progress/repairs/recovery efforts in Gaza.
- 3,000 structures are at risk of collapse according to Gaza's Public Works and Housing Ministry. Gaza's Authorities called for the evacuation and destruction of 255 war-damaged buildings just days after a building collapsed on top of 100 people.
- Over 80% of Palestinians do not have a source of income.
