Help 20 Eritrean Refugees Build Skills for a Brighter Future

We are raising funds to provide 20 Eritrean refugees living in Egypt with two months of practical Electrical Installation Training.

Your support will help participants gain a recognised practical skill, improve their employment opportunities and take meaningful steps towards earning an income and becoming more financially independent.

Why This Matters

For many Eritrean refugees living in Egypt, rebuilding life comes with significant challenges. Finding stable employment and a reliable source of income can be difficult, particularly for those without access to practical vocational skills.

At Kafel Aid, we believe support should not only respond to immediate needs. Wherever possible, it should also give people the skills and opportunities to move forward with dignity.

That is why we are investing in vocational training.

The Project

Over two months, 20 participants will undertake practical training in electrical installation at a local training centre in Egypt.

The course will equip trainees with practical skills that can support them in seeking employment, developing a trade and working towards a sustainable livelihood.

20 trainees. 2 months. Practical skills. A pathway towards greater independence.

Where Will Your Donation Go?

The training centre cost for all 20 participants is approximately £2,000.

Additional funds raised will help cover essential costs associated with delivering the project, including local transport, administration and trainee support/incentives.

Our aim is simple: remove as many barriers as possible so participants can complete their training and make the most of the opportunity.

More Than Short-Term Assistance

This project is about more than completing a course.

It is about giving someone a skill they can carry with them — a skill that can help them work, earn and support themselves and their families.

Rather than providing assistance for today alone, we want to help create opportunities that can continue long after the training has finished.

How You Can Help

Donate whatever you can and share this campaign with your family, friends and community.

Every contribution brings us closer to giving 20 people access to practical training and an opportunity to build a more independent future.

Help us turn support into skills, and skills into opportunity.
