Goal
My name is Asala, a nursing student at the University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza. I am writing this with a heavy heart—not to beg, but to hold on to a future that is slipping away.
Since I was a child, I dreamed of making my family proud. Today, that family is shattered. My father has been missing since the beginning of the war, and I have become the only hope for my sick mother and my siblings. Every day, I carry responsibilities far beyond my years while trying to continue my education.
I also suffer from psoriasis, a chronic condition that worsens under stress. But my personal struggle feels small compared to the devastation around me.
Right now, I am at risk of losing everything I have worked for. I owe tuition fees that I cannot pay due to the catastrophic conditions we are living in. Without paying these fees, I will not be able to graduate.
I am not asking for food or temporary relief—I am asking for my education.
Nursing is not just a career to me. It is my purpose. In Gaza, many doctors and nurses have been lost, and our people are in urgent need of care. If I cannot complete my studies, I will lose my chance to serve my community when it needs help the most.
The war has already taken my father and my home. I cannot let it take my dream too.
I want to stand on my own feet, support my mother, and give back to my community. I want to become a nurse who heals, who helps rebuild, and who brings hope where there is so much pain.
Your support is not just a donation—it is an investment in a future healer.
Please, help me reach my graduation. Be the reason I can continue, and the reason I can one day save lives.

For many years, I’ve supported international organizations that provide humanitarian aid, help children and mothers, and assist families displaced by war. Since last year, I’ve been personally helping families in Gaza, witnessing firsthand the extreme challenges they face every day.
