Why a Growth Fund?
The Covid pandemic took a tremendous toll on our community, and our dramatic increase in demand has not slowed down. In fact, our numbers are up 40% higher than they were at this time last year. This influx has also made clear that we will need to begin looking for a larger building.
Dunedin Cares Food Pantry has also taken on several new initiatives recently, including providing grocery support to Meals on Wheels 4 Kids and Summer Break Spot for Pinellas County School children in Dunedin, Neighborly eldercare groceries and shopping trips, and our Mobile Pantry partnership providing grocery boxes to local churches in the community. All of which is funded solely by donations from our amazing Pantry Family and we are forever grateful for your ongoing support.
