Help Restore Ecosystems and Empower Local Leaders in Somalia

We are working towards a greener and more regenerative future for Somalia by tackling poverty, environmental degradation, and climate change through ecosystem restoration. We own 187 hectares of land in Garowe, Somalia, where we are implementing regenerative agriculture practices, reforestation, and water management to increase biodiversity and restore degraded lands.
Goals
One of our main goals is to empower local leaders to become part of the solution by providing access to education. We believe that education is key to building resilient communities and tackling the multiple crises and challenges that Somalia is facing. That's why we are launching a crowdfunding campaign to send 4 local Somali leaders to a Permaculture Design Course in Tanzania, Mainsprings, where they will learn how to tackle climate change and ecosystem restoration and empower their communities to respond to their needs and struggles.
Our crowdfunding campaign has four main goals:
- To enable 4 local Somali leaders to join a Permaculture Design Course in Tanzania, where they will learn about ecosystem restoration and climate change adaptation
- To equip the locals with knowledge and skills on how to tackle climate change and empower them to respond to their community needs and struggles
- To motivate the global community to level up our humanitarian spirit and become part of a multicultural team that stands for what we see happening in the world
- To create positive and solution-based updates and media production on the progress of our ecosystem restoration and education projects in Somalia
WHY?
By working on ecosystem restoration in Somalia, we can create a greener, more regenerative future for everyone, while also addressing poverty, environmental degradation, and conflict resolution. We feel the responsibility to gather collaboration and engage global efforts to give the first steps towards our bigger vision.
Not everyone has access to education to feel the empowerment of becoming part of a solution. That's why we call for worldwide generosity to tackle our first needs. Join us in restoring ecosystems and empowering local leaders in Somalia. Together, we can make a difference and build a better future for the people of Somalia.
