Big Deal Pictures is thrilled to have fiscal sponsorship with Wild Goose Creative for production of the action/dark comedy feature film DOWN TO THE FELT, which will lens completely in Columbus, Ohio, in spring 2024.
The film will employ over 200 local film artists across multiple departments and create a positive impact on the economy of Central Ohio by engaging with numerous local vendors and service providers, from food and catering, to hotel and lodging, to transportation and more.
Written by Dino Tripodis, Ralph Scott, and Jon Osbeck, with Osbeck directing, DOWN TO THE FELT is currently in early pre-production. Joining the writers, who will also serve as producers, are producer Molly Kreuzman (PHOENIX, OREGON, EARTH SEASONED…#GAPYEAR) and multi-hyphenate Cullen Douglas (BARRY, BILLY FLANIGAN: THE HAPPIEST MAN ON EARTH). Douglas will also be stepping in front of the camera, joining already-cast actress Scottie Thompson (MURDER AT YELLOWSTONE CITY, GREY’S ANATOMY), and veteran actor Sal Viscuso (LYLE, LYLE, CROCODILE, SOAP, M*A*S*H).
The screenplay for DOWN TO THE FELT was a finalist in the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards, a quarter-finalist in the Portland Screenplay Awards, an official selection for the First 10 Pages Showcase, and a finalist for the AFM22 Live Pitch Competition.
