For over 12 years, Teen Driving Solutions School has operated a uniquely advanced education and training program that consistently enables over 98% of our graduates to drive incident free for years after completing our training. We have successfully graduated over 1,500 teen drivers through our program and created a new culture of driving within their families, significantly reducing their child's risk behind the wheel.
As technology in vehicles advances, we aim to continue achieving these statistical results by staying current on the vehicles we use for our car-control training exercises. Our current fleet of Police Interceptor Crown Victoria’s is not only aging out but they lack many of the newer safety technology systems teen drivers need to be exposed too. Therefore, we’re preparing to purchase a newer (to us) fleet of training vehicles to improve and broaden the skill training for our students.
Saving the lives of teenage drivers has never been more important than it is today as the fatality rates have been escalating dramatically during the last 2-3 years and are now back at levels we’ve not seen since 2006. These are irreplaceable lives who’s preventable loss is robbing our world of the purpose they were each created to fulfill.
Our new training fleet, composed of Ford Tauruses and Dodge Chargers, will allow Teen Driving Solutions School to continue providing in-depth training using more current safety features. And the best news is that all donations made to this campaign will be DOUBLED by a generous matching Foundation grant!
