Next March I am running the Paris Half Marathon in memory of my Uncle, Stuart “Polly” Parrott. As many of you know, Polly took his own life last year, and due to this I have decided to raise money for a local, non-profit organisation aimed at helping men get together and simply just talk. 

Having seen first hand the impact that suicide leaves, I would never want anyone else to feel that kind of pain. Polly was an incredible man, he was loved by so many people and was always there for everyone around him. He is the reason I have chosen to raise money for Man Down Cornwall.

75% of suicides are men; together, we can end the stigma and reduce the number of male suicides.
