Goal
Gareth was the love of my life along with being a doting Dad to his Daughters.
After battling serious mental health issues for many years, while feeling entirely overwhelmed, he made the tragic decision to end his life.
A measure of the level of his desperation is that he couldn’t see how much his daughters and I needed him in our lives.
Gareth was the most caring ,loving Dad and partner who we miss beyond belief.
All our lives have been devastated so it is our wish is that no one has to has to wait in turmoil to get the support and treatment that they so desperately need.
My girls and I are living everyday with what we hope no other family will ever have to endure.
In an attempt to help, in some small way, I have decided to raise money for an amazing local charity -Man down - who provide practical and peer support to men who find themselves overwhelmed by their distress and mental health in hope that no one finds themselves having to make the devastating choice that Gareth did.
Please support me to make a difference for men experiencing a crisis in their mental health.
Myself, our daughter, our niece, family and close friends are walking the Saints Way (30 miles) to raise money for this great charity. We are walking on the 13th of April which will be the first anniversary of Gareth’s passing.
Please support us by donating to this cause.
