Goal
They also host events and challenges that raise the awareness of the group and bring men together to help each other work through their issues and concerns.
The aim of the group being to work together to end the stigma around mental health and reduce the number of male suicides in Cornwall.
With that in mind, my challenge, to help raise the much needed funds, is to do a cold water sea swim on as many days in March 2023 as I can! With a minimum target of 10 and maximum of 31 depending on time, weather, work & family commitments!
The inspiration for this has come from my experiences and connections made with BlueBalls Cornwall, a local sea swimming group for men, whose purpose is to build community and connection for men, whilst also providing a safe, non-judgmental space to share thoughts, feelings and concerns.
