On the 15th October, I will be completing the half marathon at the Eden Project. 

In 2020, my incredible step dad took his life after a hard battle with mental health. This half marathon is extra special to me because Marc worked at the Eden project and he absolutely loved it. Sadly, it was also Marc's place of passing so although it will be extremely difficult returning here myself, I know how much it would have meant to him that I do this. 

I will be raising money for Man Down, a men's mental health charity. There is such a stigma on men having to 'man up' and be okay that there isn't that open conversation there for them. 99% of the time Marc suffered in silence and hid his darkness behind his contagious smile, laugh and humour. Let's change this together.
