Goal

KAST Architects swim Castle to Castle 2024

This year, join the team KAST Architects as they attempt to swim 1 mile of open water between Falmouth and St.Mawes in aid of the Man Down Cornwall. The big expanse of water at the entrance of the iconic Carrick Roads provides a formidable challenge. Training has begun in the swimming pools until it’s light enough, warm enough and the team are brave enough to get in the sea.

So meet the KAST crew (Kernow Architects Swim Team) - Nick, David, Narta, Jess, Nell, Alex, Joe and Adam. Kastle to Kastle rebrand pending…

The Cause:

Man Down Cornwall. They are a charity who provide informal peer-support talking groups all over Cornwall for men with mental health concerns. Mental health within the male dominated architecture and construction industry is often ignored. Their aim is to end the stigma and reduce the number of male suicides in Cornwall.

https://www.mandown-cornwall.co.uk/

We believe swimming in the sea is the perfect way to help the Man Down cause as the physical and mental health benefits are well documented. The money you donate will go directly to Man Down Cornwall. KAST Architects will also make a one-off donation to the RNLI for their organisation of the event and for their invaluable service on the coast of Cornwall and the UK, keeping us safe around the water.

Any donation to support our causes is massively appreciated!
