In memory of my brother Nicky, I am taking on a skydive this July to raise money for Mandown.

Losing Nicky to suicide has left a hole in our lives that words will never fully fill.The loss of someone you love in this way doesn’t just affect one person- it sends shockwaves through everyone who cared about them. It changes families, friendships, and lives forever. The silence they leave behind is incredibly heavy.

I’m terrified of heights, which is exactly why this challenge means so much. To me, the jump represents that first brave step of opening up about how you’re feeling. It can feel overwhelming, but once you take it, you begin to realise you do not have to carry everything alone.
