Last Sunday, Gose Gerald, the founder of the Uganda Skateboard Society, suffered a serious injury while attempting a frontside tailslide. Unfortunately, he slipped out and his right arm hit the ledge, leaving his arm bone completely broken.
At first, Gerald received emergency treatment, including a cast and prescribed medication. However, after further medical consultation, doctors confirmed that his injury is severe and requires urgent surgery within the next 2 days to ensure proper healing.
Gose Gerald is the founder of Uganda Skateboard Society & has been a pioneer in building the skateboarding community in Uganda, mentoring youth, and creating opportunities for the next generation of skaters. Now, he needs our support.
💰 Our Goal: $5,000
This amount will cover Gerald’s surgical procedure, hospital care, post-surgery medication, and rehabilitation costs.
Gerald is expected to spend at least 6 months off his skateboard as he recovers. With your help, we can make sure he gets the treatment he needs and returns stronger than ever both for himself and for the skateboarding community that he has dedicated his life to.
