What do you think of the red dot on the g36 carrying handle that is over the scope? Is it worth getting? Do you think that it is on par with other red dots from Aimpoint?

Can we have a brief conversation on .380? I understand it's a step down from 9mm but how significant is it.. To quote Clint Smith " I wouldn't carry a .380 is my ass if I had the room for a tug boat." I feel this is a bit of an exaggeration but I'd like to hear your justification for carrying a G42 over a G43.

Why doesn’t LMT make chrome bolt carriers for 5.56 (direct impingement) like they do for 308? Likewise, why do they still include a forward assist on their 5.56 uppers when they don’t for their 308 uppers? Thanks!

Vortex razor 1-6, NF NX8, or NF ATACR 1-8 on a Robinson armament XCR-L 15in, 1x7? Mostly competition shooting from 5 to 300 yds with the occasional 400-600yds. I find myself needing a red dot most of the time because targets are predominantly close range but LVPOs let me make my money on the long stages.
