Happy Memorial Day Weekend Chris and Heather, Friday I took my Sig Tango 1X8 Scope to the range to zero. It was a comedy of errors to say the least. At 100 yards I was a foot high and 9 inches right then over corrected and went too low and left. I ate crow and went to 25 yards to see where I was on paper, I am still way low and sorta left. Aiming high and right was putting me centerish, I know a part of it is me learning the scope and rifle with a mix of 5.56 brands, but what else am I doing wrong? How do I zero this thing without going broke?

So I have a Giessele 13.9 inch barrel with a port size of .081 and with the gas block installed at their factory. When shooting with my RC2 mini 2 the rifle was severely overgassed. I started to have stove pipes and double feeds with my Young Manufacturing BCG. So i switched my BCG with a Centurion and it seemed to tame the gassing down.( i dont know why) I contacted centurion arms and they said their ports are sized for suppressors. so my question is can i take off the pinned and weld muzzle device and rebarrel my rifle with the Centurion or just keep my overgassed Giessele?

Chris, can you recommend a gas block for my Caracal MOE? I want to remove the front sight base and replace it with gas block that can be secured with the Caracal taper pins. The free float rail has a very generous interior dimension (black label bipod).

I purchased what was labeled as an le 6920 from classic firearms what I received does not appear to be an Le 6920 at all .at this point in time I'm mainly interested and finding out if I have a Chrome plated bore and chamber barrel ,the only Mark I can find on it is a 6 towards the chamber end of the barrel how can I determine if this is Chrome plated or something that needs to go in the trade-off bin

I’m looking to protect my dogs from big game (moose bear wolves coyotes) on my property. I was thinking of a suppressed (likely oss huxwrx or cgs suppressor) lightweight semi auto .308 For within 600 yards. I want to get a POF piston rifle so badly but the thin bolt face on the bolt carrier group is almost a deal breaker to me. I was going to go LWRC REPR or LMT but those are heavy as heck. Maybe a LMT with a proof research barrel and a dwilson job will make it light? Should I just get a ruger 700 w/ and lvpo and call it a day, like my mentor says? He also suggested POF but I really like to owns guns that don’t have problems.
