I have an FN M!6A2 upper with a barrel date of 05/00. Was this re barreled or did the U.S. military still receive new M16A2s in 2000?

Any idea when Caracal will produce rifles again? Waiting on my car814. Where else can I get barrels with extractor guard (prevents blowouts towards shooter).

Chris write Black Rifle 3 and publish it through Ian’s HeadStamp Publishing!

I’m building a 12.5” mid gas LMT. Is a carbine spring w/ an H buffer the proper weight?

About your upcoming collaboration with James Rupley for the Second Revision for the Vickers Guide AR-15: Volume 2, could you if possible add a dedicated section in the book for Richard Swan of ARMS Inc., in regards to his contributions for the AR family of weapons; and his pivotal role of the finalized M-1913 Rail as well as the free-float rail? And possibly include others such as Mark Westrom of ArmaLite and his involvement with the mid-length gas system. – While trying not to nitpick it, I personally own the first edition of the Vickers Guide. I skimmed through the book and there wasn’t any mention to Richard Swan as well as other companies that also contributed to the advancement of the AR platform, were also barley mentioned. It mainly goes back to “giving credit where credit is due."

Hey Chris, I liked your videos on the LMT Piston ARs. Could you do a video about how DI VS Piston works with a suppressor? I’ve come to the conclusion that both work well.

Hey Chris and heather! - question - can you explain how dwell time differs between an AR15 20” Rifle Gas , 16” mid length gas, and 14.5” carbine gas systems? Thanks!

Hello, hope you are doing well. Chris, I am debating sending my A2 front sights to ADCO to be cut down to a low profile configuration and reparkerized. What are your thoughts? Am I giving up anything y doing this and should I proceed can I toss the handguard cap when reassembling?

Bruce | $21.08

Aces, keep up the awesome effort and thank you for sharing your knowledge!

How is the gas key fixtured to ensure that the gas key on an AR is pointing straight forward as the cap screws are tightened?

Tad | $6.02

Evening Chris and Heather, my question is because we're entering winter and it's getting colder I, like a lot of people will be wearing gloves more. Yet when I was testing my handguns, only the APX Centurion was able to take a glove finger. Are there any other compact/subcompact models that can take winter gloves, not the big bulky ones but the ones that actually let you use your fingers.

In regards to the cautions of shooting too much full-auto fire with over-pressurized ammunition through a rifle; due to increase wear and tear. But can an individual shoot a plethora of select-fire with match grade ammo? – Such as for example M118 LR vs 7.62 NATO standard ball ammo. You’ve mentioned that with Eugene Stoner; during his last remaining years when working with Reed Knight. That a draftsman from KAC was sent over to Stoner’s residence to draw out his remaining ideas onto paper. Has any of those particular ideas ever been made into a conceptual product?

Just have two questions to submit: Relating to the design development of the Colt M4 carbine, was Larry Robins (that developed the Colt CM-901) involved in the engineering team and if so how influential was he when designing the carbine-length gas system? In regards to the Dutch company of A.I. (Artillerie Inrichtingen) even though the company went defunct, but has their influence on the original AR-10 design still carried on or at least revisited today with similar designs?

Beretta sells replacement stainless steel guide rods and springs for their series 92 pistols that come with plastic guide rods. Do you recommend this replacement or would that possibly hurt my locking block on my M9A3 and M9A4?

How much of a problem or danger is a tight / short headspaced AR chamber?

James | $5.50

If you were doing you first AR build is there anything you would not do? For example, I'm afraid of staking anything because I might have to go back and fix a mistake. Also I don't want to torque the buffer tube too much because I might have to unscrew it from the receiver.

James | $5.50

Do you think Armorer's Courses are worth it for the hobbyist? I am thinking about taking a Glock Armorer's and AR15 Armorer's course for fun.

Your channel is great! It forced me to buy too many guns! I just picked up a Robinson XCR-L from the factory. They are swamped due to 4 videos dropping all at once and they specifically named SAS and said thanks! Heather is a legend. Congratulation on your anniversary, we appreciate you both.

What are the preferred mounting methods for the ~100 gram enclosed emitter red dot sights on pistols? Most mounting solutions are only rated for the ~40 gram open emitter red dot sights.

How is the bolt catch roll pin installed in a production environment? Is an L-shaped pilot slave pin used to align the bolt catch with the spring and plunger in place?

Kevin | $10.70

Is the recoil spring on an AR carbine supposed to "solid stack" at full recoil travel, or is the rubber-ish bumper on the buffer supposed to contact the rear of the receiver extension? When the spring does "solid stack", what can be adjusted to prevent that? I have milled cutaway slots in the receiver extension and stock to view the inside of the receiver extension.

Adnan Tahir-Hussain | $104.15

Regarding the recently released Centurion Arms PCC trigger, that you and Monty collaborated on, are there any plans for a select-fire version for the new trigger type? - Besides that, just wanted to help the channel out for your upcoming future projects/ventures.

What wrench style or manufacturer is used to tighten the castle nut for the receiver extension? How was this wrench used to make sure that it did not slip off when tightening to 40 ft*lb?

Chris, Do you know anything about the Glock 21 SF’s with the 1913 rail that came out some years back? If so, what was the story behind those?
