First question:
I ordered conversion kit for my Robinson Armament XCR-L. The barrel that I ordered is 5.56, 14.7", light profile, chrome moly, 1/7 twist barrel.
If I decide to use suppressor on that barrel, am I going to face any issues, because of the weight of suppressor? Would it be better to switch barrel profile to heavy?
Second question:
What is you opinion on OSS HX-QD 762 Ti suppressor?
Third question:
What muzzle device (brake or flash hider) would you choose to pin and weld, to go with suppressor?

About how much interference should there be on an AR between the takedown lug on the upper receiver and the cavity in the lower receiver at the rear takedown pin?
The lug on the upper receiver is 0.500 inch wide. The cavity in the lower receiver is 0.468", so there is 0.032" interference. The manufacturer tells me that is "mil-spec", and I believe that they are full of hot air. They tell me to use a mallet to force the upper receiver into the lower receiver. It takes over 200 pounds of force to make the receivers fit together.
This does not seem normal to me, but the manufacturer is super stubborn. They insist that I am a fool.

What is the proper method to measure the trigger pull weight on a pistol with a hinged trigger? I use the NRA dead weights, and G tells me that I am wrong. I use the MTS machines, and I am told that I am wrong. I use the Zwick/Roell machines, and I am told that I am wrong. Every other gun manufacturer is close-ish to the 5.5 pound trigger pull weight, usually around 7.0 to 8.5 pound. The 5.5 pound triggers are 9.5 to 13.6 pound triggers, not even close. I have certified calibrations for the equipment, but I am told that I am always wrong. The other manufacturers don't tell me that I am wrong. The Army does not tell me that I am wrong. What is the right way to measure trigger pull weights on a hinged trigger? The 1911 is easy.

There are some Glock 17 and 19 pistols that have a higher amount of sheared metal primer material in the striker channel, compared to similar Glock pistols that are using the same ammunition. The primer shear marks are different, compared to the other pistols that do not experience the same problem. These same pistols are piercing primers and gas eroding the nose of the striker. The strikers are replaced, only to have the same pierced primers, gas erosion, and primer shear symptoms. What should be checked to find the root cause of the odd primer shear marks and other symptoms?

The Smith & Wesson M&P 10 Chris recently reviewed had a factory firing pin spring installed. Is that design a just a standard AR-10 firing pin with a spring added? Are there any other manufacturers using that simple type of firing pin spring on their AR-10 and AR-15 firing pin?

Does the NIJ Standard 0112.03 "Autoloading Pistols for Police Officers" help or hurt modern pistol designs? The obsolete standard seems to get in the way of designing pistols that are ergonomic and properly designed. It seems like the NIJ standard sets the industry back a few decades and prevents progress and makes for some pretty awful pistol designs, especially for women.

Rubber portion is under spring tension. Face of buffer has a hole for a weight that allows movement of the weight into the rear of the BCG.
Also, I've seen a lot of variation in finish of old PWA receivers. Earlier ones look like paint, later serial numbers appear like a plastic-like anodizing. What's the deal here? (We have a lot of PWA lowers from the 80's)
