I was running a CMMG 22LR conversion kit in my MK18 upper. Unfortunately I suffered a squib and the round is stuck near the chamber end. What would you recommend I do to clear the barrel?
Merry Christmas!

Do you know why Armalite (and some others like Wilson Combat and Fulton Armory) spec their .308 AR-10 rifle length gas tubes at 15.5 inches long rather than the mil-spec standard 15.125 inch long rifle length gas tube??

Evening Chris and Heather, just submitting two questions for tonight.
Back when LMT as well as LWRCI first started development of their AR-10 rifles; the LMT 308 MWS and the REPR, did both companies started out by testing the rifles with the original 1950’s AR-10 magazines before utilizing the modern-day SR-25 pattern of magazines?
Regarding Colt Defense of when they had a plethora of cashflow, from their initial military contracts/sole source of the M4 Carbine during the early years of the GWOT (Global War on Terror). Was Colt in a similar situation during the early years of the Vietnam War with the M-16 rifle, of gaining influence on government contracts at the time?

Good evening and Merry Christmas! This month I ordered from Brownells three gold Colt extractor spring assemblies for my AR-15 carbines. Do you know if these particular Colt extractor springs from Brownells are genuine Colt, that is, still made in-house by Colt?

Just have two questions to submit.
You’ve mentioned in previous videos; especially concerning external-piston ARs. That they had issues of the inside of the upper receivers being damaged; due to their cam pins gouging out material. Did Caracal installed the screw insert into their CAR-816 rifle to try to prevent that same type of issue from happening, which occurred in previous external-piston designs?
During the amount of experience that Colt Canada or Diamaco had with the AR-15 or M4 carbine, did they ever played around with any external-piston firearms or an external-piston AR-15?

Just have a couple of questions regarding the 6.5 Creedmoor round.
Could you talk about the origins of the 6.5 Creedmoor round, and is it still considered a “battle-rifle” or a full-power rifle cartridge like the 7.62 NATO or the 30-06 calibers, or is it its own category of ammunition?
Lastly, referring back to the .280 British cartridge and comparing it towards the recently developed 6.5 Creedmoor. Do you think that there’s some similarly in terms of design concepts/methodologies between the two? – Especially how both cartridges weren’t as overwhelming/over-bearing and were easier to control for the end user to gain well placed accuracy. Compared to the 7.62x51 NATO counterpart.

In regards to the German Army’s program to replace their G-36 service rifles, did H&K thought about incorporating some design enhancements such as installing a heavier barrels for the G-36 or beefing up some parts of the internal components? – Similar to how the US Military has done in the past to address with their issues of the standard M-4 Carbine, and then progressed towards the M4A1 with the SOCOM heavy barrel.

During your time spent at the UAE facility for the Caracal 816, what types of ammunition did you used at the factory and were any of that ammo made by Caracal? – Since they have another subsidiary called “Caracal Light Ammunition” that manufactures their own ammunition in house.
Lastly, is their ammo for sale for the commercial market?

Great channel! 2 ?s. 1) I received a BRN-10A (thanks for the rec). Brownells shipped with the BCG coated a viscous lubricant. Do you know what kind of lubricant is used? Do you recommend lubricating the BCG? The cam pin? What what? Mobil 1 grease OK? 2) Do you know of a barrel maker who produces a 20" 5.56mm barrel?

Colin again, That’s okay guys. The zentizo perst 4 is a full output IR laser and Illuminator from russia.
The B.E Meyers M.A.W.L is a US commercial IR laser/illuminator

Will an SR-25 bcg work in an LMT 308?
Adnan Tahir-Hussain | $52.23
Just submitting two questions.
Question 1:
Were there other rifles like the Sig MCX that was made primarily as a .300 Blackout weapon then scaled down for other caliber conversions? – Unlike other manufacturers that builds an AR-15 calibrated in 5.56 that’s then scaled up to .300 Blackout.
Question 2:
About Sig winning the Indian military contract for their SIG-716 rifles, are they still manufactured in the state of New Hampshire? – Due to India trying to push a “Made in India” initiative for their next service rifle.

Just have a couple of questions to submit:
In regards to the early years of the MK-12 SPR program, I read an article that Chris Barrett was approached by the 5th Special Forces Group, more specifically Master Sergeant Steve Holland at the time. He asked Barrett to develop a MK-12 rifle or a Recce type of rifle in the 6.8 SPC cartridge. From your experience, did you ever noticed any MK-12 SPR ever chambered in the 6.8 SPC round besides the MK262 cartridge out of Black Hills?
Second Question:
I noticed that the Colt M5 external-piston rifle that rivaled against the Colt LE-1020, had a unique heat-sink on the upper portion of its barrel underneath its handguard. How is the heat-sink of the Colt M5 different, compared to other types of heat-sinks used from other designs?
