Kelly’s Fight for Survival and Healing
Since 2016, Kelly Boyle has been bravely and privately battling recurrent facial cancer, undergoing over 70 rounds of radiation and 24 invasive reconstructive surgeries. While these treatments have been crucial, they have also left her with lasting complications, including chronic pain, infections, memory loss, and challenges with balance, vision, hearing, and strength.Most recently, over the Christmas/New Year period, Kelly developed a severe infection that required intensive IV antibiotics. However, due to her already compromised health, her body has rejected these treatments, leaving her with very few options.
Everyday tasks have become increasingly difficult, and traveling for medical care or even personal needs requires significant accommodations, medication, and supplies.
For the past decade, MD Anderson was Kelly's primary care provider, but they have now exhausted all options available to her.
As the sole parent to her son who is an only child, Mama Kelly is fiercely determined to keep fighting for him. Her resilience and strength are unwavering, but she is now in uncharted waters. Kelly can no longer work or drive, which makes it essential for all of us to come together to support her. Your donation will go directly toward in-home nursing care, physical therapy, medical appointments, new treatments, and essential living expenses.
