Filha do Sol is a local NGO in Piauí, Brazil on a mission to regenerate tropical nature and center women’s leadership in climate justice. 


We resource local leaders who are responding to hyperlocal climate challenges, with a global impact.


In 2023, Filha do Sol created the world's first Women's Climate School - a program by and for women - that helps finance and implement climate-related projects, from restoring mangroves and scaling agroforestry, to feeding women-led families affected by extreme heat.

We are running a 6 month crowdfunding campaign to support 6 women-led initiatives, aiming to raise 60,000 USD by May 2024.


By donating to the initial phase of our Brazilian women's collective, you are positively impacting the lives of thousands of people living in eight communities in the Parnaíba Delta.
