The Bronx in Cinema, Cinema in The Bronx.
The Bronx is a borough with a rich and vibrant culture, but it doesn't have a dedicated independent cinema center. That's where we come in - and we need your help. We're raising funds to create a space where Bronx filmmakers can indulge in film, work on their craft, and share their stories.
We envision our cinema center as a creative and collaborative hub complete with a multi-screen theater, workshop rooms, and a studio. In this space, we'll offer workshops, mentorship programs, and other resources to help filmmakers develop their skills and bring their projects to life.
Everyone has a story to tell, and we want to make sure Bronx filmmakers have the resources they need to share theirs. By donating to our campaign, you are playing a key role in creating a space where filmmakers can thrive and where The Bronx can continue to be a center of creativity and culture. That is our first goal. However, we'll need to raise $1 million to ensure this Cinema Center remains open, operational, accessible and equitable for us!
