During the school year, Dial-A-Bus transports children in need to and from schools in multiple districts. The school administration signs children up for our services when they deem it necessary or believe it would be greatly beneficial to the child. The kids we transport are typically navigating home insecurity, have been moved out of district due to extenuating circumstances and need the stability of their original school, or they have special needs and will benefit from a quieter or more individualized ride with Dial-A-Bus.
As the number of children we transport has grown, we have needed more vehicles and more equipment in order to continue helping all of these children in their education journey. Thankfully, we were recently able to move to a larger space in the same building and no longer are having storage issues! Right now, we are mainly fundraising for equipment and supplies for the children while they are in our vehicles.
