DEV46 Incorporated ("dev46") is a registered Puerto Rico 1101.1 and US 501(c)(3) non-profit CBO. The municipality of Rincón holds a population of approximately ~15,000, of which 37% are female 16+ in the workforce, with a median household income of ~$25,000. And, over 50% of our community youths live in poverty.
We believe every child has the potential to be successful if given the chance. Our STEM initiative starts with kindergarteners and goes until eight grade, addressing learning loss and beginning to break the cycle of poverty.
We aim to increase awareness and create chances in collaboration with our local public schools to adopt technology-based education and programs that have been proven to be effective.
