Through monetary or in-kind donations, your support will go towards infrastructure for the exhibition and transportation of the works across the state, from the Apex Dry Lakebed and beyond! On October 18th from 2-10PM, artists will come together to celebrate what it means to be a community-minded artist. This year’s theme, Gravity, is inspired by the force that keeps us bound together. 100 Artists were asked to consider gravity: defying it, needing it, feeling it, ignoring it, agreeing with it.
The Desert Biennial Project aims to celebrate community, culture, and creativity. Mindful of the way art influences our society, we are inviting everyone to join in. By championing this project, you will help connect all Nevadans to art, as well as connecting artists to necessary platforms to express themselves and bold perspectives about collaboration and the future.
The DBP is one of many projects by the ACCNV that ensures Nevada-based artists have access to create change in their community, as well as healthy and productive outlets to express themselves. The Biennial is a place for the collective to unify: art has the power to facilitate a communal catharsis. Gravity will connect everyone to the beauty of creating in the rich desert landscape. Join us as we collectively contribute to the betterment of our state and the well-being of those who inhabit it.
Through your contributions, we can cultivate the future of art in Nevada, by unifying artists from across the state. Not only will you be providing an opportunity for the community to come together, but help sustain a future of synergy and joy.
