Support the Second Annual Delaware County Pride!
Our festivities and events are free to the public!
As we transition into Delaware County Pride this year, our logistical costs have significantly increased. After three successful years organizing the largest pride events in Delaware County's history we are excited to return for the second year of Delaware County Pride! In order for us to provide the safest and most accessible event, we need your support to sustain the festival and parade. We cannot do this without you!
WE NEED $5,000.00 TO REACH OUR FUNDRAISING NEEDS!
In advance, we want to take time to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported this event for the last two years. Without your support we would not even be close to keeping Delco Pride a reality.
Our festival and parade serves Delaware County as well as the Philadelphia area, and is the largest in Delaware County. Last year, we had over 120 vendors and thousands of attendees of all ages over three major events. This year we are expecting an even larger crowd along with even more vendors and performers from across Delco, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and beyond. Your support enables us to provide the safest and best quality events and activities for our underserved Delco LGBTQQIA+ community.
LGBTQQIA+ youth, community members, and families have historically lacked access to community resources due to a lack of concentration of the LGBTQQIA+ population in Delaware County and surrounding suburbs. Therefore, the primary goal of the festival is to continue to provide a safe space for local non-profits, LGBTQQIA+ businesses, and support networks to concentrate and connect with the wider community. In addition, the festival helps connect local groups and people to form further community groups that enhance and enrich the LGBTQQIA+ community in Delco. Delco Pride is a place to provide for LGBTQQIA+ joy and celebration while also incorporating education for LGBTQQIA+ members and allies of all ages in Delaware County.
Your donations go towards covering the permit costs, insurance, overtime, facilities, stage equipment, performer stipends, safety, activities, lunches for our volunteers, food trucks, and decorations. All donations go towards helping us keep such a large event free to the public and our vendor fees low. All donations will go towards the festival and not any other UDTJ projects or initiatives.
UDTJ is a fiscally sponsored project of Amistad Law Project which is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and thus contributions are tax-deductible.
LET'S KEEP IT GOING!
