Dean has been selected to participate in the prestigious New Balance Future Stars Series National Combine in Nashville, TN. He needs your help to make this dream a reality. The players are not charged a fee to participate but instead get the opportunity to raise funds for Future Stars Series Foundation and No Kid Hungry. The players have a chance to earn stipends towards their expenses just by helping raise money for these great causes.
Meet Dean: Dean Hanselman is in the class of 2024 from Merritt Island, FL and plays at MIHS and Canes Florida Scout 2024. He plays 2nd base & SS (Varsity starter), and also has played 3rd, and OF. Dean works hard both on and off the field as well as in the weight room. In addition, he plays basketball and football at MI High School. As an honors student he stays involved in academic activities and currently has a 4.2 GPA and doing dual enrollment at EFSC. Dean's current IF velo is 85 and his Perfect Game grade is 8.5 and he continues to push himself to get stronger. He is very dedicated, and his goal is to play at college level in any position that makes the team stronger.
Dean shares his favorite baseball memory: "Going to Cooperstown and my team was #1 most of week and finished in the top 10; I had multiple homeruns which made the experience even more exciting."
Dean also shares what attending the NBFSS National Combine means to him: "It's an honor to play at this event getting selected to compete amongst many highly talented athletes."
