2021 has continued to be quite challenging for the company. We have taken the approach of extreme caution to protect ourselves and to do our part to keep the community healthy.
We canceled our scheduled events and fundraisers to focus on our operations. We have been diligently working to keep the highest standards of service we can provide to the community. If you have encountered us you may have seen our change in tactics with minimal personnel being used inside low hazard incidents or even personnel wearing masks when interacting with bystanders. You can rest assured that we are taking the utmost precautions to be prepared for the hazards of today and tomorrow.
Unfortunately, there has been a downside. Typically, our fundraisers provide us with the funds to cover our expenses, but we have had to use money that was allocated for the remaining part of the year earlier than expected. We also rely on the generosity of the community to give us the ability to purchase new equipment that keeps us safe.
Please consider supporting us so that we can continue to support you.
In addition to financial support, we are always looking for additional volunteers to help our mission. New firefighters have been in short supply and we are always looking to train the next heroes but being a firefighter is not the only way you can help. We involve ourselves in as much community outreach as we can and are always looking to find the next person who wants to help their fellow community members.
