This will make it possible for our CWEF teams to bless more than 700 people like Pea and her family through CWEF's clean water, sanitation, and hygiene programs in China and Cambodia.
Access to a reliable source of clean drinking water is a basic human need. When communities that have been lacking this resource receive improved access to clean water, it removes barriers and results in huge positive impacts in terms of health, livelihood, and economic growth.
CWEF also partners with churches, schools, and communities to facilitate HEAL (“Health Education, Advocacy & Literacy”), which provides improved access to drinking water, hygiene, and sanitation resources in rural communities, while at the same time delivering in-depth training to local health advocates, who gain literacy and confidence in essential health practices, which they pass on to their classmates, neighbors, and family members.
This combination of improved facilities and healthier habits results in a stronger and healthier community.
